The TOURE DE SUNRISE will consist of a fun driving day with a picnic lunch at Sunrise at Mt Rainier National Park on Saturday, August 6th (Northwest Chapter). The route will showcase the twisty backroads through South King and Pierce counties to Enumclaw. Following Highway 410 from Enumclaw, the drive continues into Mt Rainier National Park, along the twisty road to Sunrise.

Club Meeting: Rescheduled to January 20th
Due to weather conditions, the Audi Club of Georgia and Jim Ellis Audi Marietta have decided to reschedule the Quarterly Members Meeting to next Thursday (January 20th). The time and location will remain the same: 7:00 pm at Jim Ellis Audi Marietta.

HPDE at Thunderhill, Jan 7, 8, 9
Join the Audi Club Golden Gate chapter for an exciting, fun, and educational two days of learning on one of the best SCCA tracks in North America for skills development. Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA is the location of the annual ACGG January event. Thunderhill is a 3.0 mile SCCA track that contains all types of corners that you are likely to experience in your day-to-day driving. This track includes several elevation changes, short and long straight-aways, and technical turns, yet it is considered to be one of the safest, and best tracks to learn on.
Karting, Georgia Chapter, Jan 8
Ring in the new year with some karting at a private track! This is a no cost event for Audi Club of Georgia members. All we ask is that you make a small donation to a charity (TBD) when you arrive. Please register for this event if you plan on attending. The location of the karting track will be sent to you via email.
A story of three members attending 12 Hours of Sebring

When Audi announced that the new R15 TDI would only race at Sebring and Le Mans – that made up my mind, I was going to Sebring. I e-mailed Andy Sattler at Audi Motorsports Experience and asked if Audi was having a hospitality tent at Sebring. It turns out they were and I made sure I got a ticket. Making airline and hotel reservations were done in a heartbeat – I was going.
