Audi Club Northwest (ACNW) held its first event in March 1994 at Portland International Raceway with about 30 participants. Interest grew and our second event was held in February 1995, again at Portland, with about 40 participants. These early events were planned and run by a few local enthusiasts that had been bitten by the Audi bug and wanted to share their enthusiasm with others. Many of the people who were instrumental in starting the local club in 1994 are still involved today, passing along their knowledge and expertise to new enthusiasts who come along. The Northwest Region Audi Quattro Club was incorporated in 1995 and was later renamed Audi Club Northwest, as a chapter of Audi Club North America (ACNA). Our membership area includes Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. With over 650 members we are the fourth largest chapter in the nation. ACNW operates as a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to educate Audi owners about their cars, and enhance their enjoyment of their Audi. Through our driving clinics and social events, we create enthusiasts and better drivers!

Audi Club Northwest is excited to initiate this new "University of Quattro" Driver Education program at the Monroe Fairgrounds/Evergreen Speedway, sponsored by University Audi. Saturday morning starts with our Drivers Education (DE) program for teens and novice drivers and a separate Full Autocross for advanced drivers. Drivers Education students will get to experience several "exercises" that include braking (ABS engagement, weight transfer), slalom (steering, smoothness), handling oval (understeer/oversteer correction, throttle) and collision avoidance (looking ahead, steering). These experiences will be paced with "chalk talks" and the opportunity to ask lots of questions. DE participants will get to rotate onto the DE Autocross in the mid-afternoon, beginning after the exercises and chalk talk program wraps up. The Full Autocross is for practiced drivers looking for lots of runs! Full Autocross is a chance to sharpen your skills for the new season. Welcome to the first lapping event of 2012, sponsored by Sunset Audi! Help us break in the track for the year. Audi Club Northwest has the honor each year of opening Portland International Raceway. With cooler temperatures and a sometimes wet surface this event has been a fantastic and true car control event. This event does NOT have a Driver's Education exercises component. It is for drivers who have attended at least one ACNW event (University of Quattro on February 4th is a qualifying event) or equivalent from another club or driver's school. Instructors will be available to help novice drivers who have attended previous events and others who want to advance their skills. Earn $500 in the ACNA Member Loyalty Program
Audi of America and Audi Club North America are pleased to announce the continuation of the ACNA Member Loyalty Program in 2012. The 2011 program was a great success and appreciated by many members purchasing or leasing Audis. Audi of America will reward ACNA members' loyalty to the Audi brand by providing a $500 cash incentive to members who purchase or lease a new or Certified Pre-Owned Audi. This bonus applies to all Audi models, new or CPO, purchased or leased from an authorized Audi dealer between January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012. You must be an ACNA member in good standing for at least six months prior to the date of vehicle purchase or lease in order to take advantage of this program.
