Audi Club Southeast has two great events coming up on October 27: "Drive to Eat" ending at the fabulous Riverview Restaurant in Ashland City and the First Annual Tail of the Dragon Drive featuring the Cherohala Skyway.

Drive To Eat

Join the Audi Club Southeast  for a – “Drive to Eat” on Saturday, October 27, 2012.

We will meet between 8:30am – 9:00am and participate in the Cool Springs Cars and Coffee at 633 Frazier Drive, Franklin which is the Carmike Thoroughbred 20 Theater parking lot closest to McDonald’s.

At 10 am we will head out on a drive that will take us to Ashland City, TN and the Riverview Restaurant overlooking the Cumberland River at 110 Old River Road, Ashland City, TN.

Dragon Leaf Drive

Audi Club Southeast is excited to announce our first annual Dragon Leaf Drive.  The Event will be held on Saturday October 27, 2012 and will depart from Harper Audi in Knoxville TN following an exciting route leading us through the fabled Tail of the Dragon with a stop for lunch at The Dragon's Den Grille and Pub and then over the beautiful Cherohala Skyway.  There will be plenty of stops along the way for pictures and mingling.  This will be a "drive your own pace" event friendly for all ages, and skill levels.

  
Event Details are as follows: 

 This will be a great day of fantastic roads and beautiful scenery.   We are very excited to meet all of you as well as see some familiar faces. 

-8am - Meet at Harper Audi (see address below, coffee and doughnuts etc, will be on hand.

-9:30am - Group departure from Harper Audi: We will follow I140 Pellissippi Parkway to US129S, then continue on US129S through Deals Gap.

-11am - Lunch at the Crossroads of Time (The Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort).

-After lunch we will proceed into Robbinsville, NC and pickup the Cherohala Skyway.  We will follow the Cherohala Skyway from Robbinsville to Tellico Plains.  From Tellico Plains Hwy 360 from to Vonore, TN and back in via hwy 411.  The route is roughly 180 miles and 4.5 hours from Harpers to Harpers.  There will be plenty of stops along the way for photo opportunities etc.

-Plan for another 1.5 hours or so at least for eating/photo ops etc.
