Audi Club Golden Gate will be holding a Teen Driving Clinic sponsored by 2Bennett Audimotive, Niello Audi, and Shell V-power. It will be held on April 28th at Solano Community College in Fairfield CA. The event begins promptly at 8am and ends around 4pm in the afternoon.
The clinic is designed go far beyond what is typically taught in Drivers Ed or a driving school. It is a classroom within the car. At the end of the day every teen should leave with much improved driving skills and a big smile on their face.
The event is open to all teen drivers between the age of 16-19 that have either a valid Drivers License or Provisional Driving Permit. All makes and models of cars are welcome.

The event will teach teen drivers to control a car in a variety of real world situations. We teach accident avoidance, ABS and panic braking, and slalom driving, all in both wet and dry conditions, and all of which are designed to improve awareness. Additionally there is an exercise called 'driving the dots' that is designed to make the teens more aware of where the edge of the lane (or curb) is located. Classroom sessions will focus on "real world" situations that teens face every day on the road, such as texting while driving and other distractions as well as proper lane changing, merging and passing techniques.
The fee for the event is $99.00 per student which includes lunch, some swag and a certificate of completion.
Registration will be limited to a maximum of 20 students total for the clinic. Breakfast snacks and beverages will be provided to all students and parents. Parents are encouraged to attend and will be provided lunch for a $15 fee. Instructors will be provided to be in car with the students for most exercises giving them real time instruction and immediate feedback.
The exercises are designed to be in a safe controlled environment, and students benefit the most by bringing the car they most frequently drive.
Registration for the event will be open on January 2, 2013 and will end at 6pm on April 19, 2013.
