On Saturday May 4th Audi Club SoCal Chapter is presenting an event that mixes vintage cars, a get-together, a drive, and lunch. By way of the generous sponsorship of Keyes Audi in Van Nuys, the first 60 people to register will have lunch at the Robinson Ranch Golf Club free of charge!

We will begin with a morning get-together at 8am in the parking lot of the famous Nethercutt Automobile Museum in Sylmar. Complimentary coffee and pastries will be provided courtesy of the club. While we wait for the museum to open at 9:00AM, there’s time for car talk, sharing, and meeting new club friends.

We will have a special guest!  Jens Schameitat, a well-known and respected contributor to audizine.com, will be joining us from Hanover Germany! Many of you have purchased your Audi headlamps from Jens over the years. He is very excited to be here to join us, meet everyone, and check out your cars.

At 9:00AM the Nethercutt opens. The Museum’s Curator, Skip Marquette, will give us an exclusive VIP narrated tour of the collection’s more than 130 of the world’s greatest antique, vintage, classic and special interest automobiles, including many top winners of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Admission to the museum is free.

There is no limit set on the number of people attending the get-together or the museum tour.  Family members are also more than welcome to attend however, please be aware, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times inside the Nethercutt.

Around 10:30AM, we will depart the Nethercutt for an approximately 24 mile Audi group drive through the mountains over to Santa Clarita along Little Tujunga Canyon Road. We will stop for a brief group photo opportunity then continue on our way to lunch at the Robinson Ranch Golf Club. (Participating Drivers must be at least 18).

At 11:30AM, the first 60 registered guests (each Audi driver will have the option to bring one guest) will be treated to an exclusive, complimentary BBQ Burger lunch on the patio overlooking the greens at the beautiful Robinson Ranch Golf Club.  Complimentary lunch will be limited to the first 60 registered guests and is being made possible by a generous donation by Keyes Audi of Van Nuys! Once the first 60 spots are filled, additional Audi drivers and guests (up to the golf club’s 100 person patio capacity) may still join us at the club’s negotiated group rate of approximately $17 per person, which also includes soft drink and gratuity.
