Audi Club Northwest, in cooperation with the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad, has chartered an entire steam powered passenger train for an exclusive brunch train ride in the morning on Saturday, June 29. This event will also include an optional group drive around Mt Rainier National Park during the afternoon.
The highlight of the day is the opportunity to ride behind a 1916 vintage steam locomotive, and enjoy brunch in a 1920’s era refurbished dining car. The train also includes an open-air viewing car, normally located just behind the engine, for great views during this journey through the Chehalis valley and alongside the Chehalis River. The train has been reserved for participants of this tour only. The train has limited capacity so please register early as this event is sure to be popular and will sell out.
More information about the steam train can be found here.
An optional group drive to Chehalis will meet Saturday June 29th at 7:45am in Federal Way at THE ROCK Pizza, and the group will depart at 8:15am. Drivers who wish to take their own route to Chehalis may meet the group at 9:30am. The train will depart Chehalis at 10:00am and the will return around 12:00pm. Upon return to Chehalis drivers are free to return home on their own route, or participate in a group drive around Mt Rainier via Longmire and Paradise to Enumclaw.
More detailed information about this event can be found at our event registration website.
Audi Club Northwest continues to offer new social and driving events each driving season. However, you do not need to own an Audi to participate in group tours. Drivers are encouraged to bring family and friends to participate and meet other Audi enthusiasts.
