The Northeast Chapter of the Audi Club NA (NEQ) is holding its annual event at Lime Rock Park in the beautiful Northwest corner of Connecticut on May 18-19, 2012. Again this year we will be sharing track time with the Lime Rock Club. To insure that all participants get the same track time as at previous LRP events, we are limiting the number of students in each run group.

With a little under two weeks to go before our annual Spring Driver's Safety School at Virginia International Raceway, we want to remind you that registration is still open. We have spots available in all run groups. The Potomac Chapter hosts this event annually and it usually boasts excellent weather. We offer a lot of track time, a team of professional instructors who understand the dynamics of your car, and meaningful classroom sessions where we discuss relevant issues to safety and car control.

The New Jersey Chapter will be hosting a High Performance Driver Education event on freshly paved Pocono Raceway Sunday, May 6, 2012. We will be one of the first clubs to drive the new pavement! This will be a full day of driver education that is affordable and educational on the Pocono 2.5 mile Tri-Oval.

The Potomac Chesapeake Chapter has listened to its membership. We now have a WEEKEND event in West Virginia at Summit Point on the MAIN circuit. Come out on March 17th and 18th for the season opener. Dust off of the winter cobwebs, get the ole' track car ready and cleaned up, and come on out for a weekend of tremendous fun with an awesome learning opportunity.

Despite the late start and ever changing weather this winter, the Northeast Chapter is pleased to announce that through AMEC, our event partners, we are planning an event on Algonquin Lake in Wells NY on Saturday February 25.  As always with a winter event on a frozen lake flexibility is the key. The forecast and conditions are promising but weather conditions, especially this year, are ever changing. We will be keeping you informed of any schedule changes.

Enjoying the balmy weather?  Please do, but recognize it puts a serious damper on winter sports, including the NEQ Winter Driving Schools (WDSs).  We are cancelling the event scheduled for Saturday, January 14th on Lake Algonquin.  We will be running other WDSs on February 4 and February 18 as follows:
