The ACNA / RMC Adult & Teen Winter Safety Ice Driving School is held on the frozen surface of Georgetown Lake. Participants in this school will receive classroom instruction (at community center) as well as plenty of driving instruction on the ice. Participants will put their cars through exercises on varied snow and ice conditions allowing participants to practice and to learn the benefits of the Quattro system or the systems in use in the vehicles regularly driven.

Registration for this school will be limited to the first 25 participants to sign up. If you have made arrangements with another registrant to share a vehicle, please note it in the event registration information. Registration fee is per person, not per car.
* No more than two (2) students per car.
- Registration to start at 7:30am (doors open at 7:15am)

- Nokian Tire Presentation  starts promptly at 7:45am - 8:15pm

- ACNA / RMC  Presentation 8:15am - 8:55am

- Leave for ice at 9:00am

Vehicle requirements:

Prior to going on track, ALL vehicles must pass a tech inspection, form can be downloaded by clicking here.

Vehicles with ANY fluid leaks will not be allowed.

Good snow tires are strongly recommended, studded tires are permitted. Tires must be DOT certified.

Participant requirements:

All participants must be at least 15 years of age, and have a drivers permit or drivers license.
Adults must be members of Audi Club of North America to participate.

Parent participation:

Parents are welcome to attend the morning classroom session, however we ask that only teens participate while in-car exercises are conducted. If you are interested in volunteering, please register.

Cancellation information:

This event is conditional on the weather/conditions at the facility. If the event is cancelled due to weather/facility issues a pro-rated refund will be given to all registrants.
