The Northeast Chapter is hosting the Watkins Glen 3 Driving School, Watkins Glen, NY from Oct. 25-26, 2008. Watkins Glen is one of the premier race tracks in the world and sits at the foot of Seneca Lake, the largest and deepest of New York’s Finger lakes. It is about three and a half miles long, with eleven turns and several uphill and downhill sections. It is home to many national racing events, including NASCAR. The banquet for this event will be a three hour dinner cruise on Seneca Lake, on the Seneca Legend that is 100' long with a 30' beam. There are also spas, shopping, museums, and dozens of vineyards with free wine tasting tours for those who might want to spend time visiting the area.
