Finland 2002 - No waiting, just driving!

Image  (QQ, Summer 2002) — Colleen and I left an unusually warm St. Paul on 15 February bound for the little town of Enontekio in Finland, about 200km inside the arctic circle, for what was to be a trip of a lifetime (although it may just be the first of a few!) Yes our friends thought that we were extremely weird, why would anyone living in Minnesota go somewhere even colder for a vacation in February? We packed all of our sleeping bags, and camping supplies and there was still enough room for us to lay down in the back. When we stopped on the way to get some more supplies, her Mom left us in the car, and that is when I got my first kiss from Sandy.

QCUSA Member Paul Lambert Goes Racing

Image  (QQ, Winter 2002) — Look for a new Audi racing team in the hotly contested Speedvision World Challenge Touring series. Located in the mountains above Santa Cruz, California, is a combination racecar engineering consultation/road car tuning product/Audi race team called Stasis Engineering. Operating out of an old barn, much the same way Ken Tyrell started his famous F1 team way back when, Quattro Club USA member (and QCUSA driving school instructor) Paul Lambert heads up the Stasis Engineering Team and drives the team's Audi A4 racecar.
