Quattro Quarterly Wins Gold and Bronze Awards!

Image Audi Club North America is pleased to announce that their publication, quattro quarterly, has received two awards in the 2006 International Automotive Media Award Competition.

The International Automotive Media Awards (IAMA), a function of the International Society for Vehicle Preservation, is an awards program to recognize and encourage excellence in all forms of automotive media. Entries are judged by peers to a standard to qualify for awards. Entries may earn up to 100 points. The Foundation IAMAs, Bronze (85-91), Silver (92-96) and Gold (97-100) medallions, are presented for those works so qualified; from among the highest point (98-100). Gold awards are chosen the Best of Divisions, with Best of 2006 being chosen from the Best of Division awardees. 

Image The quattro quarterly was recognized for excellence in two categories:

Cover Photograph (2005 S4 Audi Cabriolet crossing Sydney Harbor bridge) “Summer 2006,” quattro quarterly, by Tyson Sadlo, Gold to Audi Club North America. Silver medal was awarded to Automobile Magazine for “Veyron in the USA” by photographer Tom Salt.

Travel “Dances with Quattro,” by Liz Turner in Fall 2005 quattro quarterly, Bronze to Audi Club North America. Bronze was also awarded to AutoWeek for “Overlake Route” by Roger Hart.

Competitors for the IAMA awards included automotive magazines such as Autoweek, Automobile, Vintage Motorsport, Motor Trend, Car and Driver and others.
