Plan on joining us on the fifth annual North Atlantic Audi Club’s Tour and Fall Rally on Saturday October 11th for an afternoon of driving, exploring, and camaraderie with fellow participants on a fun drive through southern NH as we take in some of the fall foliage, lakes and local fall “Attractions”. Take a look at the 2011 event / write-up for more information and color (pun intended). Registration fee is $20 / car with registration opening in July on www.motorsportreg.com
Following the tradition started in central NH by Audi enthusiasts that continues with NAAC members once working from the driveways, your NAAC club offers mechanically inclined members the opportunity to save money doing their own timing belt service with support from one of our club’s member garage. This event has become a model for the ACNA nationally and luckily is in your back yard!
Climb to the Clouds returns in 2014!
Sports Car Club of New Hampshire and the Mt. Washington Auto Road located in Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire, have announced that the legendary Mt. Washington Hillclimb will be returning June 26-29, 2014, due in part to the generous help from Subaru of America.
The North Atlantic Chapter will again invade Brookline, MA at the Larz Anderson Museum’s German Car day event on Sunday June 15th. This unique show brings together over 140 cars and over 1800 spectators representing various German marques, including Audis, BMWs, Mercedes, Opels, Porsches and others.
NAAC members will again be supporting the Best Buddies Hyannisport Challenge, a ride/run/walk charity event starting in Boston and ending up on Cape Cod. Three NAAC board members are volunteering, plus my daughter is riding in the 20 mile. The event is in support of Best Buddies International, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Best Buddies Challenge
Celebrate spring with the North Atlantic Audi club at Jewell Towne Vineyards on April 5!
Our tour begins at Stratham Audi, in Stratham, NH and travels to the old town of Portsmouth, NH following the coast line to North Hampton and then inland to Amesbury, MA and Jewell Towne Vineyards for a private tasting of several of their award-winning wines. Our visit to the winery will also include a guided tour of the facility and an inside look at wine-making.
This event is intended to be a 101 tech session to introduce attendees to the fundamentals and best practices involved in automotive wiring.
Automotive wiring is sometimes viewed as a black art by the uninitiated. I don’t know about you, but as a mechanically minded person I sometimes find wiring intimidating, after all there are no moving parts….how does all this magic stuff happen?
